| This picture is of my Great Grandad, and was clipped from a newspaper in the early 90's. It was very yellowed and faded, but otherwise in good shape. A challenge in scanning news print or any other offset printing is minimizing and eliminating the banding that occurs as an artifact of scanning. The final image was saved in a B/W and a toned version. | ||||||||||||
