M33, the Triangulum Galaxy, located in the constellation Triangulum, is a spiral galaxy seen face-on with well defined arms and lots of nebulus areas. The galaxy is about 3 million light years distant, and is probably the most distant naked-eye object, just being detectable at a dark site.
